The Triple-Lumen Sterile Sphincterotome is intended to be used in the selective cannulation of the bile ducts and the sphincterotomy of the papilla of Vater and/or the sphincter of Oddi. Biliary sphincterotomy is a procedure in which a small incision is made at the opening of the bile duct to allow small gallstones to drain.
