Soft silicone interface that provides protection of the wound bed from the effects of friction and shear forces. The silicone layer creates a seal around the edge of the wound, minimizing the risk of maceration.
It can be used on a wide range of wounds, both acute and chronic, skin abrasions, surgical incisions, second degree burns, lacerations, grafts and in TPN treatment; Chronic wounds – diabetic, venous ulcers (suitable for use under compression), pressure ulcers, etc.
